This is night 2 of the song blog. Tonight's song "Brave" Sara Bereillis.
This song actually came on while I was writing last night and I said hmm this would be a great song to talk about. This song talks about how words hurt and how they sit under our skin. How things that we think go un said when we could change a person's life with those few words. This makes me think about everyday life.
Real life situation.
Sitting in class someone is getting picked on. Your friends are going along with it. What do you do? The thing your thinking... Oh I would go and stand up for the person getting picked on. But would you really? Would you really tell your friends that you eat lunch with and hangout with outside of school to be quiet and to apologize to the person they are talking about? I know I am going to be honest I would probably not. I would be like the crowd and go along. But put yourself in the position of the person being bullied. How would you feel? You would want someone to stand up for you. So next time someone is being mean say what you feel. Don't hold back. Be BRAVE!
You know how everyone at school follows each other. Well be bold. Be different. Be unique. Do your own thing and just be yourself. You will have so many more friends. You will begin to see your life to change. But please do not get cocky. There is a point of being different.
I challenge you to stand up for what you believe and don't be scared to speak your mind. Be brave, be bold, be different. And seek adventure!
