What Are You Known For?

Today something happened and made me think, what do people know you as? What do you want to be known for? A lot of girls my age would want to be known as the popular one. Well I want to be known as the girl who lives life, makes mistakes, goes through hardships, but still lives life and still has a great life. I don't want to be the girl in all the pictures with a beer can or the girl with glassed over eyes. I don't want to be the girl that all the guys look at, or the girl that has a "perfect" life. Because when you are all those things you are becoming part of the world. I mean guys are really attractive to look at and some of the know that and they are really cocky. I don't want to be the counselor that my campers look at my Instagram and I am at all these parties getting drunk. I don't want to break their hearts because they look up to you so much because I have had that happen and I know what they would be feeling. 

Today a lot of teenagers forget that when you put something on the Internet it is there permanently. That means you can erase it. When I said I want to be known as the girl that makes mistakes, I mean I want to be know that I am not perfect and I want people to know I don't think I am perfect. Because I know I do things that aren't good. But I can realize that I am not perfect and I can pray for them.

Jesus wants us to come to him broken so when you are at your lowest of lows and I am not saying that you being drunk is lowest of lows because it isn't. But when. You just can't find strength go to him broken and just be straight and say I know I'm not perfect. I know I make mistakes and that is why I come to you. God takes us no matter what we have done. He loves us always. Just know that God has everlasting love! 

So I challenge you to humble yourself and know that you are not the best of the best you are not all that. Because only Jesus is all that!
