Love is what?

Today I woke up with a splitting headache and a stomach ache, but you know what, with my moms caring heart and love I took some medicine and felt a whole lot better. So that is just my morning, around 2 we loaded into the car and headed to Jackson to get some last minute school supplies, 2 flash drives and a watch was what we were looking for. We ended up leaving Jackson with a new backpack and 2 flash drives. No watch but that's okay I'll find one. Then we got home and realized I need a locker shelf since this year I'll get a nice top locker! (Lets hope I can reach everything!) We packed up again and went to Oakland, a closer alternative. Again I had 1 thing I needed but me being a girl I had to get something else. "Mascara that's what I need." I thought as I walked in, by the time I left I had bought a locker shelf with accessories, mascara, and talked to my play director. We finally got home and ate dinner and I just finished the movie "Air Bud". That brings me to my title. What is so great about love?
"Love is patient, love is kind, Love does not envy it does not boast. Love is not proud, it is not self seeking, and it does not delight in evil." 1 Corinthians 13:4-6
In the movie Air Bud the boy, who I figured out tonight is Zac Efron, finds this golden retrieverwhose
owner doesn't genuinely love him. Buddy ends up running away from his owner and goes to the little boy. Where the little boy discovers that Buddy can play basketball. Buddy ends up in the news papers from idling half time shows and being the team mascot. Where his previous owner r ads about him and only wants him back for publicity reasons. But the little boy had become to love Buddy and Buddy the same. So the little boy goes and rescues him but eventually gets upset and tricks Buddy and leaves him. The little boy didn't want to leave Buddy and Buddy didn't want to be left. The crazy thing is though that no matter how bad Buddy had been treated he still loved. He still wanted more.
Dogs are a lot like children, no matter what you do to them they don't know any better than to love. God tells us to be more like little children and we get so caught up in culture things like phones, Facebook, twitter, Instagram, and anything else. We get so caught up in the drama that we forget to love, this world is full of hate and turmoil that no on remembers or knows what love is.
Love is kind, love does not envy, those are two things that stood out to me in the verse, we forget to be kind to our neighbors when they do something bad to us. We forget to smile at them and say thank you, I will be praying for you. We envy what other people have. We envy at what cars our friends have, how big the house is they live in, how many friends they have. We forget that we have everything we need, food, water, shelter, and LOVE.
My mom shows me love by taking me places and caring for me.
I challenge you to love everyone you encounter no matter what they have done to you. This is also a challenge for myself.
"But Jesus called to them saying,"Let the children come to me, do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of God."

God bless
-Charley
